PAINTING


        Painting is one of my new hobbies. I started painting at 14 when my Tita gave me cool-colored paints and a brush. I used to hate art because I couldn't draw a human figure. I find it difficult, and mostly I draw stick figures whenever I have to. Even though I hate drawing humans, I still appreciate art. How beautiful it is and how powerful it can be. You can use it in different aspects of your life. Use it to fight. Use it to speak. Use it to inspire. 



    I started to like painting when I was 15 years old. I enjoy the idea that I can paint my favorite scenery and other things. If I have time and at the same time, a lot of money, I'll paint again. I like painting scenes. I love the feeling of painting because my mama appreciates it a lot. She placed it on our wall, making it one of our decorations in the house.

    Aside from painting scenery, what is the other subject that you would like to paint?

      Aside from the scenery, I would love to paint different kinds of paintings that showcase protest movements. It's because it is one of many reasons why I wanted to do art—to voice out and express myself.

    Goodluck! I would love to recommend that you try a lot of free online painting tutorials on YouTube. That really helped me a lot, and it's also good for some beginners like you!
